Aurora Forecast provides in-app tools to report any sighting, photo, or user, and to block other users so their content no longer appears in your feed. Reports are reviewed and acted on as quickly as reasonably possible.
Aurora Premium: 99 SEK per year, billed yearly through your Google Play account, auto-renewing.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms, abuse other users, attempt to disrupt the service, or use the app in violation of applicable law. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app or via https://aurora-forecast.app/delete-account.
Aurora forecasts in the app are estimates based on public space-weather data from NOAA SWPC and weather data from Open-Meteo. Aurora visibility depends on many factors (cloud cover, light pollution, geomagnetic conditions). We do not guarantee that auroras will be visible at any specific time or place. Use the forecasts as a guide, not as a guarantee.
To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Aurora Forecast and its developer are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to lost time, missed aurora events, travel costs, loss of data, or any decisions you make based on the forecasts. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under Swedish or EU law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by the Swedish courts, with Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer protection law dictates otherwise.
